Cameras VS. Side Mirrors

What do you think about cameras being used to replace side mirrors? The NHTSA and DOT are looking for public comments between now and April 13. As professional drivers, you guys have a special perspective on the pros and cons of new technology. Cameras (as long as they’re functional) have the potential to eliminate blind spots.
