Icy Roads Reminder!

Remember to watch for slippery and icy spots in the road. We’ve all seen the “bridge may ice” signs, but it’s easy to drop your guard when you forget how low the temperatures are getting. Be extra careful when ice and snow are just starting to melt, making the surfaces extra slippery. And shaded parts of the road may remain icy for longer, even after the sun has cleared the rest of the roadway. As you know, black ice is particularly dangerous because the thin, transparent layer of ice can be easy to overlook.
