DRIVER POSITIONS
McLeod Express is updating the payout for OTR, Regional and Flatbed positions effective January 2nd, 2022.
OTR- $.60-$.67 CPM
Regional- $.55-$.62 CPM
Flatbed- $.55-$.66 CPM

OUR HIRING AREA
OTR VAN FLEET
McLeod OTR Drivers haul a variety of direct customer non-hazmat freight and some broker freight. Loads will be a mix of drop & hook and live load freight with some loads being delivered to drop yards we utilize as well. Very seldom late night/early morning deliveries. McLeod OTR Drivers can make up to .60 cpm and can expect to earn $70,000 to $90,000 annually.
REGIONAL VAN FLEET
Home weekly, our Regional Drivers haul a variety of direct customer non-hazmat freight and some broker freight. Loads will be a mix of drop & hook and live load freight with some loads being delivered to drop yards we utilize, very similar to our OTR Fleet. Very seldom late night/early morning deliveries. McLeod Regional Drivers can expect to earn $55,000 to $75,000 annually.
OTR FLATBED FLEET
McLeod Flatbed Drivers haul outbound fabricated steel products for the agriculture industry and backhaul various raw steel materials used for production. This division has a mix of 48 ft side kit flatbeds along with Conestoga trailers. Home most weekends, McLeod Flatbed Drivers can expect to earn $70 – $80K annually.
DEDICATED
McLeod has several opportunities within our Dedicated divisions. Our Decatur, Lafayette, and Springfield terminals have dedicated fleets. In our dedicated divisions, we do anything from manage our customer’s shuttle programs delivering from plants to outside warehouses or longer-haul programs where drivers complete daily roundtrips and return home each night. Dedicated fleet drivers can expect to earn between $60,000 and $80,000 annually.
BULK SERVICES
McLeod Bulk division (frameless end dump) hauls a variety of different commodities from coal to lime to rock and specializes in a 150-mile radius of Decatur, IL. Bulk driving positions are available at both Decatur, IL and Springfield, IL terminals and drivers are home daily. Our Bulk fleet drivers can expect to earn between $55,000 and $75,000 annually.
OUR TRUCKS
McLeod is proud to operate a fleet with an average age of our tractors 2 ½ years old. In support of our commitment to provide our drivers with clean, reliable, state of the art equipment, we are excited to announce that we will start taking delivery of 2023 Freightliner tractors in May and will in-service 50 units before the end of the year!
